London: Thousands of people lined up in Edinburgh, Scotland on Tuesday to watch the funeral of Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II. The body will be taken to London on Tuesday.

Their coffin was brought to St Giles Church in Edinburgh on Monday in the presence of the Queen’s four children, King Charles III, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward. Princess Anne will live with her family. King Charles III will be present in London. The last rites of the queen will be performed on Wednesday afternoon. From Buckingham Palace the funeral procession will reach Westminster via Queen’s Garden, The Mall, Horse Guards and Horse Guards, White Hall, Parliament Street, Parliament Square, New Palace Yard. Residents will be visited from 5:30 pm on Wednesday to 6:30 am on Monday local time. His last rites will be performed on Monday. Everyone coming for the funeral will have to go through a security check light.

Officials said 500 foreign VIPs are likely to attend the Queen’s funeral. However, invitations have not been sent to the leaders of Russia, Myanmar and Belarus. The funeral will take place on Monday at Westminster Abbey in London. US President Joe Biden has announced that he will attend. Leaders from Australia, New Zealand, Canada are also expected to participate. Emmanuel Macron of France, Prime Minister of Germany Frank Walter Steinmeier, Sergio Mattarella of Italy, President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of Brazil Jair Bolsonaro will be present.
