Babylon trailer: Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie reunite for a grand 1920s Hollywood party

The trailer of Babul is finally out. Paramount Pictures has released the first trailer for Damien Chazelle’s upcoming Old Hollywood film starring Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie. Set in the late 1920s, the film follows the scandalous sets of Tinseltown, as the industry transitions from the era of silent films to talkies. Oscar winner Chazelle directed the film from his own script, hoping to create something “bright and loud”. The Babylonian trailer introduces us to Pitt’s character, Jack Conrad, an established Hollywood star who wants to move beyond the era of silent films. “When I first moved to L.A., the signs on all the doors said: No actors or dogs allowed. I changed that,” he says, rejoicing at his accomplishment.

The Babylonian trailer also hints that Conrad has plans to work on a medieval piece featuring armored knights who collide with each other, which is a thrilling experience. The trailer ends with a montage of clips, Pitt falling off a balcony in his underwear, firing bullets around, and Robbie announcing that he wants to fight a rattlesnake.
