Edible oil price: The exemption in the import duty of edible oil remains intact, relief from the decision of the central government

In order to keep the prices of edible oil under control during Diwali, the central government has decided to retain the exemption in import duty. There will be no change in import duty on edible oil till March 2023. Meanwhile, the price of oil in the international market has also come down significantly. So common people will not have to pay extra money for edible oil to survive Diwali.
