According to a report, the Xiaomi Civi 2 will be unveiled in China by the Beijing-based company this month. The handset is reportedly codenamed ‘Ziyi’. The report reveals that the Android 12-based MIUI 13 stable version is ready for the Xiaomi Civi 2. The above information, including launch details, was spotted in the latest MIUI code. The phone is expected to be launched with different names in other markets as well. The handset will reportedly not debut in India.

The handset will launch in other markets with either the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G NE or the Xiaomi 13 Lite branding. The phone has been spotted with the codename ‘Ziyi’. The report also suggests that the Xiaomi Civi 2 will not launch in India. Xiaomi Civi 2 is reportedly ready for Android 12-based MIUI 13 update. It is said to sport a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with full-HD resolution. The phone will have a triple rear camera setup with a “special” vlog mode.
As per an earlier report, the key specifications of the Xiaomi Civi 2 were tipped recently. The handset is said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC. It could sport a micro-curved OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision support, and narrow bezels. Earlier it was reported that the phone will not be available in the global markets.
In August, the Xiaomi Civi 2 was reportedly spotted on the China 3C database. It was spotted with model number 2209129SC, the report highlighted. The Xiaomi Civi 2’s charging adapter was reportedly listed with model number MDY-12-EF and 67W charging support.
