Will Smith-Chris Rock Slapgate: The 94th Academy Awards held this year had many memorable moments but one incident disturbed the entire ceremony and made it the talk of the world. We’re talking about the Chris Rock-Will Smith slapgate. The Hollywood actor slapped comedian and host Chris Rock on stage at the Oscars. All these months after the incident, Will talks about this and apologizes to Chris. Will has shared a video on his YouTube channel and social media, in which he has revealed the reasons for this.

In fact, Chris Rock was slapped during the 94th Oscars after Will Smith won the Best Actor Oscar for the film ‘King Richard’ because Chris made fun of Will’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s short haircut. “It’s all still not clear,” Smith said in the video.

Will Smith said, “I’ve tried talking to Chris and he’s been sent a message that he’s not ready to talk about it. He’ll talk to me whenever he feels like it.” In this video, he further said, ‘I apologize to you Chris. My behavior was not fair. I will talk to you whenever you are ready to talk.’

Will Smith continued, “I also want to apologize to Chris’s mother. I saw her interview with what Kris’s mother said. There were a lot of things going through my mind at that time. I didn’t feel them. Maybe you can.” Don’t know but how many people were sad at that time. So I apologize to Chris’s mother. I also apologize to Chris’s family.”

Will Smith got emotional as he spoke. He says, ‘I want to apologize to Tony Rock. Did you know that we had a great relationship? You know Tony Rock is very close. There is no part of me that thinks this was the right way to do business at the time. There is no part of me that thinks this is the best way to handle feelings of disrespect or humiliation.”
