20 people, including two Russian diplomats, were killed in a suicide attack on the Russian embassy in Kabul at around 11 a.m. on Monday. Afghan police said the suicide bomber was shot near the embassy’s entrance. Taliban fighters guarding the Russian embassy had recognized him from a distance during the suicide attack and shot him dead. However, 20 people died in the blast and many were seriously injured. The Russian Embassy is said to be located on Darul Aman Road. After this, more than a dozen people lost their lives in the terrorist attack in Herat.
