After all, North Korea wants to know Pope Francis? Sanki told Tanshah - please call me your country

New Delhi: Pope Francis said he was ready to visit North Korea to maintain world peace. For this he has asked Pyongyang to invite him. He said this information during a TV interview on Friday. The Pope said that if he was given the opportunity to visit North Korea, he would not turn it down.

A possible papal visit to the nuclear-armed nation began in 2018 when former South Korean President Moon Jae-in began a diplomatic visit with Pyongyang leader Kim Jong Un. At that time, Moon said during a summit that Kim Jong had told him that the Pope would be welcomed with enthusiasm.

Pope Francis said at that time that he was ready to leave if he received an official invitation from North Korea.

I would definitely go if invited
During an interview on Friday, Pope Francis said that if you invite me, I will go there, I will not refuse. He said that the purpose of my visit is mutual brotherhood.

At present, relations between North Korea and South Korea are at a very low level. South Korea recently offered aid to North Korea in return for denuclearization, but the Kim regime scoffed at the plan. On the other hand, Kim blamed South Korea for the outbreak of the Kovid epidemic in North Korea.
