Vivo Y16 is rumored to launch in India soon as the handset was recently spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) database. Now, a reliable tipster has shared the alleged live images of the device showcasing its two color options – Black and Gold. Apart from this, a glimpse of the rear panel and camera module can be seen in the leaked image. Recent rumors suggest that this Vivo smartphone is priced at Rs. 11,499 for its base variant at launch. The handset is said to be powered by MediaTek Helio P35 SoC.
The estimated live images of Vivo Y16 were Groove By tipster Paras Guglani (@passionategeekz). It offers a glimpse at the rear camera module along with the Black and Gold color options of the handset. Guglani suggests that these Vivo models may soon hit India and other global markets.
Vivo has not yet given any information about this smartphone. However, a recent report has revealed the full specifications of the Vivo Y16. The smartphone flaunts a 6.51-inch IPS LCD HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) display with a waterdrop notch. It is believed to be powered by MediaTek Helio P35 SoC along with 4GB of RAM. Additional features like Extended RAM 2.0, Multi Turbo 5.5 and Ultra Game Mode are believed to be added to enhance its performance.
The Vivo Y16 is said to feature a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 13-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel depth/macro sensor. It is expected to have a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front. It is believed that this smartphone will run on Funtouch OS 12 based on Android 12.
This smartphone is likely to include a 5,000mAh battery. It is said that up to 128GB of onboard storage can be given, which can be expanded via microSD card. Vivo Y16 can have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, USB and Type-C connectivity options. Guglani had earlier claimed that the smartphone would be priced at Rs. 11,499 for the 4GB RAM variant.
