Union Minister Piyush Goyal in a lunch engagement with ‘Indiaspora’ in San Francisco said that the people of the Indian community here have kept Indian culture and values alive while keeping the spirit of India alive. I am taking a lot of new energy back from my trip to America. Piyush Goyal said that the NRIs are in a unique position to connect with India and abroad. We look forward to this continued effort and engagement to connect India and the United States in terms of trade and people-to-people contacts.

In an event with ‘Indiaspora’, Union Minister P. Goyal further said that no country can become a developed country unless it enhances its relations with the whole world. Last year we exported 675 billion goods and services, the highest ever. We expect it to cross 750 billion this year.
Union Minister Piyush Goyal said that the ‘Amrit Kaal’ by 2047 is going to be a defining period in India’s journey to become a developed nation and bring prosperity to every person living in India. NRIs play an important role in this journey.
