PM Modi launched 5G services

Recently 5G airwaves were successfully auctioned and spectrum capacity of 51,236 MHz was successfully allotted to telecom service providers with total revenue of Rs 1,50,173 crore.

Card tokenization rules apply
From October 1, RBI is implementing the card-on-file token rule for credit card and debit card users. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is preparing to make major changes from next month to curb the increasing cases of cyber fraud across the country. Earlier this rule was to come into force from January 1, 2022, but the RBI extended the deadline by six months to June 30. Later RBI decided to implement this rule from 1 October 2022.
