Singer Christina Aguilera had to lie about her own last name, Aghiya, what's the offering?

Singer Christina Aguilera struggled to maintain her surname for much of her career, but dismissed other suggestions for a stage name because she is “proud” of her mixed heritage.

He said, “Something that I really embody and understand, you know, it’s a name that’s been tried to get rid of me on several occasions in this business. It’s hard for everyone to pronounce it. The easiest name is. I don’t like to repeat the bad names that could have happened to me.”

Reportedly, the ‘Genie in a Bottle’ hitmaker revealed that she insisted on keeping her birth surname as she is “proud” of her mixed heritage and used her surname as the title of her latest album. Inspire – recorded in Spanish – as a way to create a “full circle” moment.

She told Billboard, “But I was like no, I’m Aguilera, I’m proud of who I am. My father is from Ecuador. That’s honesty and that’s very important to me.”

Meanwhile, Aguilera has been linked to Matthew Rutler for the past eight years – but the loving couple is in no hurry to tie the knot just yet. A source said, “There are no wedding plans at the moment. (Christina) and Matt are JK as are Kush. They are one of those couples who don’t need any documents to prove their love for each other.”
