Sheikh Rahimullah Haqqani, the Taliban’s main religious cleric, was killed in an explosion in one of the capital’s districts on Thursday. Rahimullah was an Islamic scholar of the Taliban as well as a staunch supporter of the terrorist ideology.

According to a report in Tolo News, Haqqani’s death was confirmed by Islamic Emirate’s deputy spokesman Bilal Karimi. Haqqani was killed in a suicide bombing. At present, the police has started the investigation of this blast case.

A tweet by Tolo News said Sheikh Rahimullah Haqqani, considered a religious scholar, has died in an explosion at a school in Kabul. Islamic Emirate’s deputy spokesman Bilal Karimi confirmed the death of Sheikh Rahimullah Haqqani.

This incident of explosion took place in a madrasa in Kabul. According to reports, it was a suicide attack in which Sheikh Rahimullah Haqqani was killed.
