Swatantra Veer Savarkar: On the auspicious occasion of Navratri and Dussehra, producers Sandeep Singh and Anand Pandit have started shooting for the film ‘Swatantra Veer Savarkar’. Directed and starring actor Randeep Hooda, ‘Swatantryaveer Savarkar’ has started shooting and the film will release everywhere on May 26, 2023, on the occasion of Veer Savarkar’s birth anniversary.
Producer Anand Pandit said about the film, “There can be no other actor than Randeep Hooda to do full justice to this role. Also, Randeep will also direct this film, so it is definitely a matter of pride.

Producer Sandeep Singh said, ‘It is a matter of pride for us that Randeep Hooda will make his mark as a director in our film along with the lead role. He further added, “As Indians and Hindus, Swatantra Veer Savarkar is a special film for us. I wish that every Indian, especially the younger generation, should know their history. Veer Savarkar’s contribution for the independence of our country is very great. The journey of one such freedom fighter will be shown in this film. I feel special and honored to be making this film.
Randeep Hooda’s second biopic
Regarding his role in this film, Randeep Hooda had said in an interview that, ‘There are many revolutionaries who have played an important role in getting freedom for our country. Vinayak Damodar Savarkar’s name is also prominent in this. They are being discussed a lot. People have some misconceptions about him. That’s why it is necessary that his story is presented in front of the audience. This will be the second biopic of Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda. Earlier he played the lead role in the biopic ‘Sarbjit’. Randeep Hooda and filmmaker Sandeep Singh have earlier worked together in the film ‘Sarbjit’.
The shooting of the film ‘Swatantraveer Savarkar’ will be done in Maharashtra and London. The film ‘Swatantraveer Savarkar’ is conceptualized by Sandeep Singh, written by Utkarsh Naithani and Randeep Hooda and produced by Anand Pandit Motion Pictures, Legend Studios, Produced by Anand Pandit, Sandeep Singh and Sam Khan. Hence, Roopa Pandit and Zafar Mehdi have taken care of the side as co-producers of the film.
