Pakistan’s Wazir-e-Azam Shahbaz Sharif has come under political storm after an audio clip was leaked on Saturday. in this audio clip Shahbaz Sharif And there is a recording of a conversation with a government official, in which the Prime Minister of Pakistan is asking a relative to work for him. This two-minute audio clip is of Tehreek-e-Insaf party leader Fawad Chaudhry Shared on his Twitter account on Saturday. Sharing the audio clip, Fawad Chaudhary has alleged that Shahbaz Sharif is giving priority to the business interests of his family before the interests of the country.

The son-in-law’s job was to import machinery from India for the power plant.
The voice in this audio clip is of Shahbaz Sharif. In the clip, Shahbaz Sharif is seen saying that Maryam Nawaz Sharif has asked India to import some machines for her son-in-law Raheel’s power plant. To this the official replied to Shehbaz Sharif, ‘If we do this, it will disappoint us immensely if the issue reaches the cabinet or the ECC.’ According to Dawn newspaper, Shahbaz Sharif told the officer, ‘Maryam Nawaz loves her son-in-law very much. So explain them in a logical way. Then I will talk to him.’ According to Dawn newspaper, the voice in the audio clip has admitted that this work will create a political storm.

NAB chief’s name also discussed
It is noteworthy that Maryam Nawaz’s daughter Mahrunnisa was married to industrialist Chaudhary Munir’s daughter Raheel in December 2015. According to the Dawn newspaper, the end of the audio also mentions former Justice Maqbool Bakir, who is being made the head of the National Accountability Bureau. The official mentioned the names of two journalists and suggested to Wazir-e-Azam Shahbaz Sharif that Maqbool’s name should not be considered for the NAB chief. Notably based on the experience of former NAB chief Javed Iqbal, himself a former judge and who was appointed by the PML-N government. The timing of the conversation recorded in the audio clip can be gauged from the fact that two months back the issue of the appointment of the NAB chief was in the news.
