Particularly in Talegaon Talatule village, the idol of the goddess sits in the middle of the lake on the base of wooden and plastic drums. Not only this, attractive electric lighting has been arranged in this temple as well as in the pond. Devotees are taken inside with the help of a boat made of wooden and plastic drums to reach the mandapam of the goddess. Devotees from all over the district come here to witness this fascinating and unique sight that is presented only during Navratri. The train of devotees can be seen day and night.
Jai Ambe Jai Durga Ki Jai Ghosh
It takes about a month to make the boat in which the devotees are going for darshan. The slogan ‘Jai Ambe Jai Durg’ has created immense enthusiasm and positivity in this environment.
This is why Talegaon got its name.
At the time of immersion, the procession of the goddess is taken out in the village and then immersed in the same lake. People here say that Talegaon got its name due to the big pond of the village. And the villagers have made a special identity on the occasion of Navratri by establishing Adimaye in the pond of about 18 acres area of this Talegaon.
