According to a report in Variety, ‘La Favre’ is Johnny Depp’s French debut film and will be streaming only on Netflix France. The film will be streamed on the OTT platform 15 months after its release at the box office. The report states that this is not a Netflix Original film, that is, Netflix is not financing it. The OTT platform has licensed the film to stream only in France.
‘La Favre’ is a period drama, in which Johnny Depp will be seen in a different avatar. According to reports, Johnny Maven will be seen in the role of French King Louis XV in this film directed by Le Besco. The shooting of the film is yet to begin and the film will reportedly be shot at various locations including the Palace of Versailles for three months.
