The 75th anniversary of India’s independence will be celebrated in a special way in the US city of Boston. 32 countries will participate and a 220 feet tall US-India flag will be flown over the city by an airplane. Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker has declared 75 years of Independence Day as ‘India Day’ on August 15 at India Street in Boston and August 14 a day earlier at the State House in Rhode Island.
On this occasion, former Indian cricketer RP Singh has been invited as Grand Marshal in the parade.
