By-elections 7 Assembly seats in 6 states: The bugle has been sounded for seven assembly by-elections in the country and the voting process for all the elections will be held on November 3. Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Maharashtra Voting will be held for seven assembly vacancies in Maharashtra, Telangana and Odisha. Also, the results of these elections will be declared on November 6. The Central Election Commission (Election Commission of India) on Monday made a big announcement regarding seven by-elections in the country.
The date for filing nominations for these elections is October 14. The nomination form can be withdrawn till October 17.

The Gokarnath assembly constituency in Uttar Pradesh has fallen vacant due to the death of BJP MLA Arvind Giri. He died of a heart attack. Arvind Giri was a three-time Samajwadi Party MLA. He had reached the assembly twice, joining the BJP.
Kuldeep Bishnoi resigned from the Adampur constituency of Haryana. He left the Congress and joined the BJP, after which the seat fell vacant. RJD’s Anant Singh was an MLA from Mokama assembly constituency in Bihar but his membership has been canceled due to allegations of possessing AK-47.
Subhash Singh was the MLA from Gopalganj constituency of Bihar. He was also made a minister in the NDA government of the state. This seat fell vacant after his death. Shiv Sena from Andheri East constituency in Maharashtra Ramesh Latte (Ramesh Latte) was an MLA. This post has become vacant after his death. That’s why by-elections are being held there.
