5G services launched: 5G internet service was started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The service was launched by the Prime Minister at the India Mobile Congress event. India Mobile Congress is being organized from 1st to 4th October at Pragati Maidan, Delhi. At present, 5G services have been started in select cities of the country. However, the Prime Minister has said that this service will be started in most of the cities of the country by 2023. But what is 5G before that? And understand how 5G service differs from 4G.
What is 5G service?
5G stands for fifth generation service. It is a new global wireless system. Internet speed of 5G will be many times more than 4G. Currently, 5G service is available in the USA and China, USA, South Korea, UK, Spain, Canada, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Italy, France, Thailand and Sweden in 2018. 5G works in three bands. Low band, mid and high frequency band spectrum.
