Washington. Who knows better than Jamaica’s Usain Bolt. Bolt, who won 8 gold medals in the Olympics, ruled the athletics world for 16 years. He still holds the world record for completing 100 meters in 9.58 seconds. Such records are made to be broken. Don’t know when who collects the coin. But in this era of computer and artificial intelligence things are changing rapidly. Now robots are on the track to challenge these legendary athletes. A robot was launched in America to run 100 meters.

This robot has been made by Oregon State University’s College of Engineering and spinoff company Agility Robotics. This two-legged robot entered the Guinness World Records by running 100 meters in 24.7 seconds on a college track.

How does this robot work?
What is the name of this robot? The robot works without cameras or external sensors. It was created under the direction of Jonathan Hurst, Oregon State Robotics Professor and Chief Technology Officer of Agility Robotics. Earlier this robot had completed a race of 5000 meters in the college campus with a time of 53 minutes.
