Kyiv: Ukraine’s military has been fighting a war with Russia for the past 7 months and has saved many lives. Earlier, Europe’s largest media outlet Nexta shared a picture from its official Twitter handle, in which a Ukrainian soldier is seen caressing a parrot sitting on his arm. According to the information given in the caption of this picture, ‘Ukrainian soldiers of Operational Command North rescued a parrot. The bird was found during the cleaning of the house where the invaders (Russian soldiers) were staying till a few days ago. The Ukrainian soldiers could not leave the bird to its fate and took it with them to the unit.’
Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has promised his country that there will be no retaliation for taking back towns and cities captured by Russian troops. In his address to the nation, he said that some of us may feel that we are calm after such a victory. But, this is no silence. We are preparing our next strategy and will continue to liberate the whole of Ukraine. Ukraine’s military command said on Saturday that its forces had secured the eastern bank of the Oskil river.
