Delhi: Though Monsoon has retreated from some parts of the country, it is still active in many parts. According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon will return from the second day of Dussehra and by October 13, it will rain again in many parts of the country. Let us know what the department predicts on the weather conditions.

Heavy rain again after October 5

According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon starts in the country from 20 September every year. However, this time it is likely to remain till October 13. The reason for this is that this time the low pressure monsoon is active in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. Therefore, after Dussehra i.e. after October 5, there is a possibility of rain in many parts of Madhya Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Delhi.

Monsoon halted due to cyclone

According to the Director General of the Meteorological Department Mrityunjay Mohapatra, the super cyclone named ‘Noru’ is still over the Bay of Bengal. Monsoon cannot return due to this cyclone. Hence, there is a possibility of rain again in different parts of the country from October 5. Along with the rain, cold winds will blow, due to which the day temperature will also drop and people will feel cold.

farmers will benefit

He further said, this time in the north and north-west parts of the country, the monsoon has given 5 percent more rain than the average. This is the fourth year in a row that it is raining so well. This will be of great help to those farmers who are preparing for re-planting of Rabi crops and they will not face water shortage.

Mohapatra said that Cyclone Noru will also weaken on October 13. So this year’s monsoon is also going to say goodbye.
