According to the Indian Express, the BCCI is planning to send the players selected for the T20 World Cup to Australia on October 5. BCCI wants players to get full opportunity to prepare in Australia. The BCCI has also discussed with the team’s coach Rahul Dravid in this regard. If the Indian players reach Australia on October 5 itself, they will get an extra week to practice. India’s first match in the upcoming T20 World Cup will be against arch-rivals Pakistan on 23 October. Before this, India has to play two practice matches.
