Vivo X Fold S Tipped to Launch As Vivo X Fold Plus, May Sport Quad Rear Camera Setup: All Details

According to a tipster, Vivo X Fold S can be launched with Vivo X Fold Plus moniker. The foldable phone is said to have the same specifications that the tipster had previously shared for the Vivo X Fold S. The rumored Vivo X Fold Plus has been spotted on China’s 3C certification website and benchmarking website Geekbench. The smartphone will reportedly be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The tipster had earlier claimed that the foldable handset will sport a 2K LTPO display.

Tipster Digital Chat Station has shared Via Chinese microblogging website Weibo is rumored to be launching the Vivo X Fold S with the Vivo Fold Plus branding instead. The tipster said that the specifications that were previously reported for the alleged Vivo X Fold S will be the same for the Vivo X Fold Plus.

Also, information has also been given about the camera specifications of the phone. The Vivo X Fold Plus is said to sport a quad rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, a 12-megapixel portrait lens, and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens. On the front, it is said to have a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

As per an earlier report, the same tipster had shared the specifications of Vivo X Fold S, which is now called Vivo X Fold Plus. Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC has been given in the phone. It is said to pack a 4,700mAh battery with support for 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Vivo’s rumored foldable phone is said to be an upgraded version of the Vivo X Fold, which was launched in April this year.

The rumored Vivo X Fold S was earlier reportedly spotted on China’s 3C website with model number V2229A. The smartphone was also spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking website, which reportedly suggested a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC for the phone. The report states that the phone could feature a 2K LTPO display with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It is also said to have an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
