Kyiv On Tuesday, one person was killed and at least five injured in several powerful explosions at a Russian airport in Crimea. Officials gave this information. The Russian Defense Ministry said the ammunition exploded at Saki Air Base. The ministry insisted that the establishment was not attacked. But there is speculation on social networks in Ukraine that the explosions were caused by a long-range missile fired by Ukraine.

There has been no comment from the Ukrainian authorities in this regard so far. In a video posted on the social network, it is seen that the giant has become a gubernatorial which has been blown up by blasts. If the base was indeed attacked by Ukraine, it would be the first major attack on a Russian military base in the Crimean peninsula.

A senior official in Crimea said ambulances and medical helicopters were dispatched to Saki Air Base and the area was sealed off within a five-kilometre (three-mile) radius. The head of Crimea’s health department, Konstantin Skorpsky, said five people were injured and one of them was hospitalized. Others have been discharged after treatment, he said.
