Do not know Bollywood’s promising actor Shashi Kapoor very well. Today is the death anniversary of the actor. He passed away in 2017 due to prolonged illness. The world can never forget Bollywood veteran Shashi Kapoor. The actor has given more than one hit films. Fans still remember him through his films. He has done around 160 films. He became the pride of Bollywood with his acting. He was known for his excellence in acting, due to which he was also honored with the Padma Bhushan award in 2011.

Shashi Kapoor was also awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. Which is a big deal for any actor. He faced good times in his life. He never gave up and kept fighting. There came a time when the actor had to face financial crunch. Due to which he also had to sell his sports car. While Shashi sold his car, his wife, who loved him unconditionally, was left behind. He also sold his belongings to help with the household expenses. This was disclosed by his son Kunal Kapoor during an interview.
