Tigor EV Launch: Tata Motors is a leader in the electric car segment in the country. Tata’s electric cars are the largest sellers in the country. Today the company has launched its much awaited electric car Tata Tiago EV. For the past several months, this car has been in great discussion in the Indian auto sector. Finally this car has been launched in India. We are going to know 10 big things related to it.
- The ex-showroom price of the Tiago EV is Rs 8.49 lakh (cheapest electric car). While the top-end variant costs Rs 11.79 lakh (Tata Tiago Ev Price). Tata will start its deliveries from January next year.
- The Tiago EV is a new entry-level electric car. Which has been launched with the same powertrain as the Tigor EV.
- The new Tiago EV features the Ziptron EV architecture for better range and performance.
- The Tiago EV is powered by a 24kWh lithium-ion battery pack. Which gives a range of up to 315 km. This battery pack is available in its XT, XZ+, XZ+ Tech LUX, variants.
- It also gets the option of a smaller 19.2 kWh battery pack, which is capable of offering a range of 250km. This battery pack has been introduced in its XE and XT variants.
- There are several regen modes in it, which help in single pedal driving and also provide more range.
- The car can also be charged with the help of AC charger and DC fast charger with conventional charging plug point.
- Tata claims that the 7.2kW AC charger takes 3 hours and 36 minutes to fully charge the car.
- According to the design, blue highlights have been given on each side, which gives a different look to the design.
- Customers will get leather seats, climate control, 8-speaker Harman audio system, rain sensing wipers, auto headlamps and mirrors, cruise control, connected car tech and many more.
