Taipei. Taiwan’s Foreign Minister Joseph Wu said that China was looking for an excuse for military exercises. This time he has used the visit of US Senate Speaker Nancy Pelosi as an excuse. Wu challenged China, saying that although China is looking for excuses for military exercises, it does not have the ability to conduct drones, cyber attacks and propaganda in such a short time. Wu said that the best way to deal with this system is to try to scare us, but we are not afraid of it. Wu said China had violated international law by conducting military exercises around Taiwan and disrupting one of the world’s busiest shipping lanes.

Significantly, on August 2, a day after US Senate President Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan, China conducted military exercises around Taiwan from August 4. Now in response to this, Taiwan has also started live fire artillery drill on Tuesday. China did a similar exercise a few days ago. Taiwan has taken this step to take defensive measures against China’s attack and to respond to any misadventure by China. China also crossed the middle line, the dividing line between Taiwan and China. It also tested ballistic missiles against Japan. According to the report, Taiwan has started this exercise today.

After the visit of Nancy Pelosi, China has imposed many restrictions on Taiwan. China had previously banned the import of fruit, fish and other food items from Taiwan. After this the import of more than 100 food products was banned. Taiwan has taken its place. It has imposed massive restrictions on the import of construction materials from China.
