China conducted naval exercises on the Taiwan border on Monday. After this Taiwan also alerted anti-submarine and air-to-ship systems. China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) had earlier announced that it would conduct exercises around Taiwan from August 4 to 7.
Taiwan’s President seeks support from the world
Taiwan’s President Tsai Ing-wen has sought support from all countries of the world. However, Wen also made it clear that his government and military are fully prepared to respond to any provocation from China. The eyes of the world are on China’s next step. What China will do after the military exercise ends on 7 August has not been disclosed yet.
