The new DualSense Edge wireless controller lets you remap or deactivate specific button inputs that come your way. Analog stick sensitivity and dead zones can also be adjusted – the distance your stick travels before being detected in the game. In addition, PS5 players can mess with travel distance to manually reduce the time it takes for faster input. Shorter travel distance equals faster input in competitive FPS games.

DualSense Edge Control Profile

Once you find your ideal control settings, PS5 players can save them to unique profiles and swap them out instantly. Let’s say, at Profile 1, you have lower camera sensitivity for better aiming in FPS games. So, instead of manually adjusting when switching to a narrative game like God of War, you can simply set these configurations in advance, and swap through the software.
