Plan A Plan B trailer and release date are here. At an event in Mumbai on Monday, Netflix announced that the Riteish Deshmukh and Tamannaah Bhatia-led Indian rom-com will hit its worldwide platform on September 30. In Plan A Plan B, Deshmukh plays Kaustubh Chougule, an eccentric and successful divorce lawyer, while Bhatia plays Nirali Vora, a conscientious matchmaker who believes marriage is for everyone, except own. When she moves into an office next to them, their bitter conflict is compounded by a growing attraction. Can opposites coexist, let alone attract? “You turn singles into couples, I turn them into singles,” Kaustubh (Deshmukh) says in the Plan A Plan B teaser trailer and summarizes their tension.

Apart from Deshmukh (Housefull 4) and Bhatia (KGF), bahubali), Plan A Plan B also stars actress-turned-politician Poonam Dhillon and Kusha Kapila (Ghost Stories). Shashanka Ghosh – who last directed the sad Ali Fazal and Shriya Pilgaonkar-led comedy film House Arrest also for Netflix – is the director of Plan A Plan B. Newcomer Rajat Arora is the screenwriter, and producers along with Trilok Malhotra and KR Harish. Plan A is a production of Plan B India Stories Media & Entertainment and Funk Your Blues Entertainment.

Ghosh’s latest film was first announced last September at Netflix’s Virtual Global Today event. It is now one of five Indian Netflix Originals to release this September, along with the second season of the reality TV series Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives – Maheep Kapoor, Bhavna Pandey, Seema Kiran Sajdeh and Neelam Kothari on Sony’s With – true on September 2. Crime documentary Indian Predator: The Diary of a Serial Killer to release on September 7 in Diljit Dosanjh-led film Saint On September 16, and the second season of the crime series Jamtara: Sabka Number Aayega on September 23.

Plan A Plan B is available on Netflix in India and worldwide on 30 September.
