Recipient of almost all major awards, including the Nobel Peace Prize, Barack Obama has won the television world’s coveted Emmy Award with a Hollywood entry. On Saturday, the Television Academy awarded Barack Obama an Emmy Award for narration in his Netflix documentary series “Our Great National Park.”
Barack Obama, a two-time President of the United States of America, is one of the world’s popular leaders and has also received the Nobel Peace Prize. He has also twice won the Grammy, the biggest award in the music world. Now he has also received Emmy, the most prestigious award in the television world. In the world of entertainment, there are four prestigious awards in the world, now two awards are behind them. They are Oscar and Tony.
These four awards are called EGOT. This is an achievement of four award pages. (the achievement of winning all four major American Entertainment Awards). This means that if they win two more prizes, they will join the EGOT club. According to the Entertainment Weekly tracker, only 17 people have achieved EGOT, including Mel Brooks, Whoopi Goldberg, Audrey Hepburn and most recently Jennifer Hudson.
Before this, another US President missed Amy Mill in 1956. However, the then President D. Eisenhower was awarded an Honorary Emmy Award. After leaving office in 2017, Obama and his wife Michelle both wrote memoirs, and both memoirs are among best-sellers. After this he has created a non-profit organization under which a production company has been established. It is being told that this company has signed a big deal with Netflix worth more than one million dollars. His company’s first documentary film, “American Factory,” won an Oscar for Best Documentary Feature and an Emmy for Directing. However, for this the film makers got this award and not Obama himself. That’s why he hasn’t got an Oscar yet.
