Mumbai: The payment of MHADA Home amount can now be done in three phases. Konkan division of MHADA has provided this special facility to the customers. The board has decided to provide facility to 197 beneficiaries of Mauje Balkum-Thane housing scheme to pay the total cost of flat in three installments by Konkan division of MHADA in flat lots of year 2018 and earlier. MHADA has given this information by issuing a press release.
Under this facility provided by Konkan Mandal, the beneficiaries of this scheme will have to pay 25 percent of the total cost of the flat by 31 October 2022 in the first phase. After that 50 percent of the second phase is to be paid by 31 January 2023. Also under the third phase, the beneficiaries are required to pay the remaining 25 per cent amount within 30 days of receiving the occupancy certificate, subject to the terms and conditions in the distribution letter, it has been informed by MHADA.
As per the information given by MHADA, the winner of Balkum-Thane Mouje Balkum-Thane as per the demand made by the beneficiaries of this scheme to the Board and payment of the sale price of the flat and after making the payment ten percent of the total price of the winner flat. , the remaining 90 percent flat will be received through konkan board from bank or financial institution to be available as loan a no objection certificate will be issued.
As per the lottery rules, ten per cent of the total cost of the flat is to be paid within 45 days of the receipt of the decker letter and then 90 per cent within 60 days. However, for the beneficiaries of Mauje Balkum-Thane housing scheme, these rules have been relaxed. So customers will get the benefit of this.
Meanwhile, the MHADA authority has decided to clear lots for around 4,000 houses in Mumbai during Diwali. Mumbai Board has started preparing for the draw and it is being told that soon it will be officially announced.
