The main reason for the exhaustion of the battery of Mars is being said to be the eclipse of Mars. Along with this, ISRO made many efforts to save Mangalyaan. But there were constant eclipses on Mars. The largest eclipse lasted only seven and a half hours. So the Martian battery ran out. According to officials, the battery of Mangalyaan was designed in such a way that it would last for an hour and 40 minutes in the absence of sunlight. But since the eclipse lasted seven and a half hours, the battery was completely drained.

Mangalyaan mission was launched in 2013. Four and a half crore rupees were spent on this campaign. The Mars Orbiter Mission is also called the Mars Orbiter Mission. It was launched on 5 November 2013. It reached Mars orbit on 24 September 2014.

Mangal worked 16 times more than his scheduled time. Mars’ Mars color camera took more than 1,100 pictures. Due to which the Mars Atlas was formed. This mission resulted in the publication of more than 35 research papers on Mars.
