Jasprit Bumrah Fitness: The bowling of the Indian cricket team has always been dependent on spinners. Though India, which is strong in terms of batting, relies on spin bowling in bowling, but in the last few years the Indian team has seen fast bowlers who are fast bowlers. One of the leading bowlers is Jasprit Bumrah. PTI quoted BCCI sources as saying that according to information revealed on Thursday (September 29), Jasprit Bumrah has suffered a back injury and will not play in the T20 World Cup to be held in Australia next month. Bumrah also missed the Asia Cup after being injured during the England tour. Bumrah was then recalled to the squad to prepare for the World Cup, after which he played the last two matches against Australia but has now been ruled out against South Africa due to injury. Meanwhile, Indian cricket fans are raising questions on the BCCI as it looks like Bumrah will not be able to play for the next few months due to not being given proper time to recover from the injury.
Who has a chance in place of Bumrah?
Two fast bowlers Deepak Chahar and Mohammed Shami are among the reserve players for the T20 World Cup. Importantly, in the event of injury to a key player in the team, a reserve player is included in the playing XI. Deepak Chahar has bowled well in the T20 series against Australia and South Africa. In the first T20 match against South Africa, Deepak Chahar took two wickets for 24 runs in four overs. But who will get a chance in place of Jasprit Bumrah in the Indian team? This question arises.
