Prime Minister Kishida did an RT-PCR test this morning after getting some symptoms of corona. His Kovid report came in the afternoon in which he was found positive. He has isolated himself after the Kovid positive report came.
Significantly, the whole of Japan is currently facing the seventh wave of Kovid. On Friday, 261029 cases of corona were reported in Japan. Earlier on Thursday, 255534 cases were reported across the country. Corona has wreaked havoc everywhere in the country, while the number of patients admitted to hospitals has also increased.
On Friday, a total of 294 people died due to corona infection across the country. In the capital Tokyo, 28 people died due to corona infection.
