iron Heart Regan Aliyah has reportedly been cast in an undisclosed role. According to Deadline, XO will appear alongside Kitty star Dominic Thorne in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe show. The six-episode series will be directed by Sam Bailey and Angela Barnes (atlanta), taking up three episodes each. Chinka Hodge — best known for Netflix’s Snowpiercer — serves as a producer and lead writer for iron Heart, The Disney+ series is part of Marvel’s Phase 5 lineup, and will be released in the autumn of 2023.
Making his first appearance in the 2016 Invincible Iron Man comics, iron Heart Follows 15-year-old engineering student Riri Williams. After his father passes away, the certified super-genius creates a suit of armor similar to that of Tony Stark, and continues to improve it. That is, until Stark supports his decision to become a superhero.
Williams will be played by the aforementioned Thorne, previously seen in the trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which was released at San Diego Comic-Con this year. With Iron Man out of the picture in the MCU, it seems that Riri’s story is woven into the world of Wakanda.

Anthony Ramos (In the Heights) is said to play the villain, and there are undisclosed roles in store for Alden Ehrenreich (Solo: A Star Wars Story), Manny Montana, Harper Anthony, Zoe Terax, and Shea Cowley.
Aaliyah is currently set to star in Netflix’s XO, Kitty, a spin-off of the To the Boys film series.
iron Heart Expected to release on Disney+ and Disney+ Hotstar in autumn 2023.
