According to news agency ANI, Sanju Samson can return to the team in the ODI series. Not only this, Samson (Sanju Samson) can be made the vice-captain. Senior players can be rested from the ODI series. At the same time, Shikhar Dhawan can lead the team.

The Indian team wants to leave for Australia next month for the T20 World Cup. Before this, all the players involved in the World Cup squad can be rested. The selectors had announced the squad for the T20I series long ago, but then they did not announce the squad for the ODI series. Royal Challengers Bangalore and Madhya Pradesh’s explosive batsman Rajat Patidar can also get a place in Team India. He could be the new face against South Africa. The first T20 between India and South Africa will be played on 28 September in Thiruvananthapuram, the second T20 in Guwahati on 2 October and the last T20 in Indore on 4 October.
