India-US relations: US Secretary of State Antony Blinken supports PM Modi, says- ‘Yah Sam is not of war’

Washington. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said the US fully agreed with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement to Russian President Vladimir Putin that “this time is not war”. Blinken told a joint press conference with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar here that the US did its best to avert the Ukraine crisis through diplomacy. “Unfortunately, President Putin strikes again and now not only the people of Ukraine, but the whole world is facing the consequences,” he said.
