KL Rahul on Man of the Match Award: Team India beat South Africa by 16 runs in the second T20 match to take a 2-0 lead in the three-match series. Team India had given a target of 238 runs to South Africa (India Vs South Africa). But South Africa could only manage 221 runs for the loss of 3 wickets. South Africa lost the match by 16 runs. After the win, KL Rahul was given the ‘Man of the Match’ award. But he has expressed surprise on getting this award.
KL Rahul said after the match, ‘I am surprised that I got the man of the match award. Actually Surya should have got this award. He really changed the game. Having batted in the middle order, I know it is difficult to bat. Dinesh Karthik doesn’t face too many deliveries and he was exceptional. KL Rahul scored 57 runs in 28 balls.
Suryakumar Yadav and KL Rahul batted for India. Both players hit half-centuries. Rahul’s innings laid the foundation for victory. During this, Suryakumar Yadav scored 61 runs in just 22 balls, which included 5 fours and 5 sixes. Thanks to his innings, Team India was successful in registering victory.
