India beat South Africa: Thanks to strong half-centuries from Indian openers KL Rahul (KL Rahul) and Suryakumar Yadav (Suryakumar Yadav), India won South Africa by 8 wickets. With this win, India have taken a 1-0 lead in the three-match T20I series. The first ODI between India and South Africa was played at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. Indian pacers Arshdeep Singh (Arshdeep Singh) and Deepak Chahar (Deepak Chahar), who got a chance to make a comeback in this match, managed to restrict South Africa to 106. Chasing the target of 107 runs given by the South African team, it was seen that the Indian team was blown away. Captain Rohit Sharma was caught when India scored 9 runs. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli was seen struggling in this match. On the first ball of the seventh over of India’s innings, Virat Kohli (3 runs in 9 balls) fell victim to the ball of Norkhia. After that KL Rahul (51 not out) and Suryakumar Yadav (50 not out) took charge of the victory of the Indian team. On the strength of these two half-centuries, India registered an 8-wicket win against South Africa. Kagiso Rabada and Unrich Norkhia got one wicket each for South Africa.

Then Deepak Chahar brought tears to the eyes of the South African team by dismissing Tristan Stubbs (0 runs) in the third over. After that Aidan Markram and Keshan Maharaj tried to take the team’s innings forward. But, in the eighth over, Harshal Patel gave the South African team the sixth blow in the form of Markram. After that Harshal Patel ran back to Keshav Maharaj on the very first ball of the 19th over. South Africa’s team set a target of 107 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs against India. Arshdeep Singh took the highest three wickets for India. After this Deepak Chahar and Harshal Patel got two wickets each. So, Axar Patel took a wicket.
