Grammy Award-winning rapper Coolio dies, The Singer gets boosted in the bathroom of a friend's house

Grammy Winner rapper Coolio has passed away. He was 59 years old. However, the reason for his death is unknown. Coolio is known for gangsta’s paradise and fabulous travels. Coolio’s death was announced by his longtime manager Jerez Posey. Coolio died at a friend’s house in Los Angeles. Coolio won a Grammy for Best Solo Rap for Gangsta Paradise. The departure of Coolio has caused a wave of mourning for the ego fans.

Coolio’s real name was Artis Leon Ivy Jr. Coolio’s manager told TMZ he was found dead Wednesday afternoon in the bathroom of a friend’s house. Coolio gained global fame in 1995 when he sang Gangsta Paradise for the soundtrack of the film ‘Dangerous Minds’. Coolio received a Grammy Award for the song the following year.

Coolio also sang several other raps that were nominated for Grammys. He received another 5 Grammy nominations during a career that began in the late 1980s. He was born in Monsen, Pennsylvania, south of Pittsburgh. Coolio then moved to California where he attended community college.

Coolio worked as a volunteer firefighter before turning to hip-hop and rap music. He also worked in airport security.
