Google Pixel 7 Design Revealed in Promo Video Ahead of October 6 Launch; Teases Three Colour Options

Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro are all set to launch on 6th October. Ahead of its imminent arrival, Google on Thursday released a promo video that shows off the full design of the Pixel 7. In the short video, the company showcases its new colors and teases the premium design of the upcoming smartphone. It has glass rear panels, while the camera module sports a matte aluminum finish. The Google Pixel 7 is confirmed to be offered in Lemongrass, Obsidian, and Snow color options.

The tech giant released through its official YouTube handle Made by Google teaser video Showcasing the design of the upcoming Pixel 7 from all angles. The video suggests lemongrass, obsidian and snow colorways for the upcoming handset. The design of the Google Pixel 7 is similar to that of the previous Pixel phones, including the same rear camera design with a few minor changes. The promo video also shows a glass frame and an aluminum matte-finish camera module at the back. Dual camera setup with LED flash can be seen in the smartphone. The power and volume buttons are seen arranged on the left spine of the device.

Recently, Google posted a video showing the design of the Pixel 7 Pro smartphone in obsidian, hazel and snow shades. Google unveiled the Pixel 7 series as the successor to the Pixel 6 series at its I/O 2022 event in May. The smartphone and Google Pixel Watch will be launched at 10am ET (7:30pm IST) on October 6th at the ‘Made by Google’ launch event. The upcoming phones will be backed by Tensor G2 SoC.

The specifications of Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro have been leaked several times in the past as well. The vanilla Pixel 7 is said to feature a 6.3-inch full-HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate display, while the Pixel 7 Pro is claimed to offer a 6.7-inch QHD+ OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Pixel 7 sports a dual rear camera unit that includes a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. In contrast, the Google Pixel 7 Pro is said to sport a triple rear camera setup with an additional 48-megapixel telephoto camera. Both the smartphones are expected to get an 11-megapixel selfie sensor. Both the phones may offer the eSIM MEP feature which allows a smartphone to be connected to two eSIM providers simultaneously. Both the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro are said to support Android’s biometric face unlock feature.
