Drone maker Garuda Aerospace is all set to provide technical know-how and expertise in the field of drone technology to the Indian Army, a report said. Former Indian men’s cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is an investor and ambassador for the drone maker. The company is said to provide technological expertise to the Indian Army to use drones more effectively in modern warfare. The report added that the company recently raised its Series A funding round.

According to A Report Garuda Aerospace, a drone manufacturer, is all set to provide its drone technology technical know-how and expertise to the Indian Army, via ANI.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the former captain of the men’s Indian cricket team, is said to be an investor and an ambassador for the drone maker. Garuda Aerospace will reportedly analyze the exercises and suggest measures to reduce the vulnerability of Indian soldiers.

Garuda Aerospace’s technological know-how and expertise will be used by the Indian Army to use drones more effectively in modern warfare. The company recently raised a $30 million (roughly Rs. 240 crore) Series A funding round at a valuation of $250 million (roughly Rs. 2,000 crore), reports said.

In May, Garuda Aerospace partnered with Swiggy. Under the partnership agreement, the two companies are said to have started testing grocery delivery via drones in Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru.
