The Meta CEO shared on Facebook that the company will release “major updates” for Horizon Worlds soon. The avatar graphics will also be updated soon, the executive added. The CEO said he would share more details later at the company’s Connect event. In the post, the executive admitted that the image of his Horizon Worlds avatar that was shared earlier was “pretty basic.” On August 16, executives announced the launch of Horizon Worlds in Spain and France on Facebook.

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, shared through The Facebook company will soon release “major updates” to Horizon Worlds. Zuckerberg also said that the avatar graphics will be updated soon. Details of the updates will be shared later by Zuckerberg at the company’s Connect conference.

Along with the announcement, Zuckerberg also shared an image of his Horizon Worlds avatar. He admitted that the previously shared image was “pretty basic”. In a Facebook post about Avatar, Zuckerberg said, “…was taken too soon to celebrate the launch.” He added that Horizon World’s graphics are capable of “a lot more”. Graphics are also said to be more capable on VR headsets.

The CEO of Meta (formerly known as Facebook) claimed that Horizon Worlds is improving “very quickly”. Along with the announcement, he also shared an image of his avatar to showcase Horizon Worlds and the potential of avatar graphics.

Zuckerberg’s post comes days after the company made the announcement through Facebook has launched Horizon Worlds in France and Spain. The image, which Zuckerberg described as “pretty basic,” was originally shared during the announcement. In the image, Mark Zuckerberg’s Horizon Worlds avatar was seen next to a model of the Eiffel Tower.
