Devika Rani gets first Dadasabeb Phalke Award
Every year a person who contributes to Indian cinema is honored with the ‘Dadasaheb Phalke Award’ by the Government of India. The ‘Dadasaheb Phalke Award’ is being given since 1969. Actress Devika Rani was awarded the first ‘Dadasaheb Phalke Award’ in 1969.
