Indian players performed brilliantly in the Commonwealth Games 2022 played in Birmingham. In this year’s Commonwealth Games, India has won the maximum number of medals in wrestling and weightlifting. Indian athletes won a total of 12 medals in wrestling. India also got 19 medals in weightlifting. Won 7 medals in boxing. At the same time, India won 3 gold medals in badminton. India won a total of 61 medals and is at the fourth position in the medal tally. India has won 22 gold, 16 silver and 23 bronze medals.

Talking about the medal tally, India is at the fourth position with a total of 61 medals. India has won 22 gold, 16 silver and 23 bronze medals. Australia remains in the first place with 177 medals. Australia has won 66 gold, 57 silver and 54 bronze medals. In second place is England with 171 medals. England has won 56 gold, 62 silver and 53 bronze medals. Canada is third with 92 medals. Canada has won 26 gold, 32 silver and 32 bronze medals.

The last medal was won in men’s hockey

The Indian men’s hockey team won the last medal for India on the last day of the Commonwealth Games. However, the men’s team suffered a defeat in the final and had to be content with the silver medal. Australia beat the Indian hockey team 7-0.

Apart from this, Anchata Sharath gave India the last gold medal in the Commonwealth Games. He won the gold medal in table tennis men’s singles match by defeating Menliam Pitchford of England 11-13, 11-7, 11-2, 11-6, 11-8.

India’s star badminton player Lakshya Sen has also given another gold medal to the country with a brilliant performance. Lakshya Sen defeated Malaysia’s Ng Tje Yong 19-21, 21-9, 21-16 to win the gold medal in men’s singles. Lakshya Sen has won the 20th gold medal for India.

India has got gold medal in badminton. PV Sindhu has won gold medal for India in Badminton women’s singles competition. Sindhu won the gold medal by defeating Michelle Lee of Canada 21-15, 21-13 in the final. VP Sindhu has not lost a single match in the Commonwealth Games 2022. With this win, India has moved up to the fourth position in the Commonwealth Games table. This is PV Sindhu’s first gold medal in Commonwealth Games.
