The last medal was won in men’s hockey
The Indian men’s hockey team won the last medal for India on the last day of the Commonwealth Games. However, the men’s team suffered a defeat in the final and had to be content with the silver medal. Australia beat the Indian hockey team 7-0.
Apart from this, Anchata Sharath gave India the last gold medal in the Commonwealth Games. He won the gold medal in table tennis men’s singles match by defeating Menliam Pitchford of England 11-13, 11-7, 11-2, 11-6, 11-8.
India’s star badminton player Lakshya Sen has also given another gold medal to the country with a brilliant performance. Lakshya Sen defeated Malaysia’s Ng Tje Yong 19-21, 21-9, 21-16 to win the gold medal in men’s singles. Lakshya Sen has won the 20th gold medal for India.

Sindhu won the gold medal by defeating Michelle Lee of Canada 21-15, 21-13 in the final. VP Sindhu has not lost a single match in the Commonwealth Games 2022. With this win, India has moved up to the fourth position in the Commonwealth Games table. This is PV Sindhu’s first gold medal in Commonwealth Games.
