Competition between BJP leader Ashish Shelar and former cricketer Sandeep Patil for the post of Mumbai Cricket Association President

MCA President Election: A political leader and a former cricketer is likely to fight for the post of Mumbai Cricket Association this year. At this time the names of political leaders i.e. BJP leader Ashish Shelar and former cricketer Sandeep Patil are in discussion.

The discussion of the triennial elections of the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has now reached its peak. This much-talked-about MCA election was likely to be held on September 280 last month. But due to some reasons the election was postponed without being held in the meantime. According to the information that has come out now, the election for the post of Mumbai Cricket Association will be held on 20 October. Interestingly, after 11 years there will be a fight between a cricketer and a politician once again for the post of MCA President. Earlier in 2011, former cricketer Dilip Vengsarkar and former Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh had contested for the post of professor. At that time Vilasrao had defeated Vengsarkar. Now this year also it will be interesting to see whether the political leaders will prevail on the cricketer or whether Sandeep Patil will be able to defeat Ashish Shelar or not.
