The Central Government has banned the PFI i.e. Popular Front of India, which has been on the radar of investigating agencies for the last few days. At the same time, this decision of the central government has been welcomed by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and BJP. The central government has banned PFI due to its association with terrorism. The affiliated organizations of PFI have also been banned. The NIA and other investigative agencies have raided the premises of PFI twice across the country and arrested hundreds of office-bearers and activists in the last eight days.
