Apple has released iOS 15.6.1, iPadOS 15.6.1 and macOS Monterey 12.5.1 updates. Three security updates bring fixes for kernel and WebKit vulnerabilities. With the macOS Monterey 12.5.1 update, Apple fixes an issue that allows an application with kernel privileges to execute arbitrary code. Apple said the issue could be actively exploited. According to the company, both the bugs have now been fixed with the above-mentioned update.

Apple also recently released iOS 16 beta 5 version. The new beta is said to add a battery percentage indicator to the battery icon in the status bar. The new update reportedly also brings a new ‘copy and delete’ feature for sharing screenshots. The feature is said to enable users to copy a screenshot to the clipboard instead of saving it directly to Photos.
